Born in Asheville in the early 1980’s, I witnessed Asheville’s transformation into the thriving, popular city it is today. After a decade away for study, work, and travels; I returned to Asheville with a strong sense of community and with a purpose to make positive and lasting changes that would continue to help this community grow and evolve. Drawing upon my culinary background, I created the Gan Shan restaurant group, opening two neighborhood Asian restaurants – one in an abandoned former gas station and one in a derelict former daycare. Breathing new life into old spaces ignited a passion for the opportunities that came with adaptive re-use of Real Estate. As these restaurants continued to grow and mature as neighborhood hubs for people to gather, nourish and celebrate, my interest in Real Estate continued to grow.
In February 2020, a stroke of blind luck lead me to sell one restaurant while I shifted careers to a full time role in Real Estate. Trial by fire, I cut my teeth during the Real Estate boom of the COVID pandemic learning quickly how to navigate competitive multiple offer situations and prioritizing intelligent negotiation to get properties to the closing table with all parties happy.
An advantage to being an Asheville native is that I know this area inside and out. Whether you are buying or selling a mountainside home or an in-town condo, I can help guide you through the process. And with a knowledge of construction and renovation and financing, I'm able to help with homes, land and projects of all scopes and sizes. My desire to listen and learn, and my critical eye offers flexibility and confidence as I guide you through the process of buying or selling. Creative problem solving is a strength as I marry practical knowledge with solutions and help clients create a mental framework for the stresses of the homebuying and selling process.
When I am not selling real estate, you can find me and my wife cycling, cooking, tinkering, traveling, spending time at the lake, and generally enjoying time outside with our dog Beatrice. Reach out by email at patrick@mymosaicrealty.com or text or call my cell at 828-808-6908. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you.
