My husband and I recently worked with Bill Anderson at Mosaic to find our dream home. As first time home buyers we were pretty clueless about the process and having just moved to Asheville from Chicago, we didn't know the area well either. Bill took us all over Asheville, showing us the pros and cons of different neighborhoods and we looked at tons of houses so we could get a feel for what we wanted. He'd explain what was good or bad about one and why, and graciously answered every single one of our thousand questions with a high degree of industry knowledge. He's a great communicator - throughout the whole process from our first call to closing, we never had to guess at what was happening or where we were. I'm picky and have pretty specific taste, but we eventually found a house that we absolutely LOVE, within our budget and in a great neighborhood. I got in contact with Bill before I moved to Asheville, while I was fishing around for a realtor and trying to get a handle on what I wanted in a house and what I could find in different areas. Even before moving here and with no commitment to him, Bill was going the extra mile to send me videos of properties with his thoughts on them. When I moved here (renting initially) and started really looking in earnest, Bill was ready to help me figure out what exactly I was looking for (I had very specific features in mind) and got me realistic about what I could expect to pay. After picking out all the best possibilities for me and seeing them in person with me over the course of a couple months -- all without any signed commitment to him -- he found a house that was an excellent fit for me. I was one of the first to view the home, twice in one day even, and we were able to get an offer in that night. Bill's negotiating skills had the deal sealed that weekend, and after guiding me through all of the closing process, I've been happily in the home for over a month now. Through everything Bill was professional and personable, available at more times than I could have reasonably expected, and super knowledgeable about the good and bad features in every home we visited. He constantly amazed me with his intricate knowledge of electrical features, foundations, plumbing, walls, just about everything that I might have easily overlooked but ultimately plays a huge roll in the enjoyment of a house.
