I like to tell people that I am a “Jackie of all trades” because real estate is my third career. I spent many years working in the restaurant and hospitality industry before deciding to pursue my teaching degree. After receiving my Bachelor’s in Psychology from UNC Asheville and Master’s in Education from Western Carolina University, I spent nine years as a special education teacher working with students with special needs. My heart and passion will always be in service and working with people.

When you come to Asheville, it might take you a little while to meet someone who was born here, but I am an Asheville native! One of my passions is traveling and visiting places outside my hometown, but the Blue Ridge Mountains always beckon me home. One thing that resonates with me most about this area is all the outdoor adventures you can find right outside your door. For most of my life, my family owned and operated a group tour business, specializing in guiding adventure trips throughout Western North Carolina. From snow skiing to white water rafting, I love it all.

I appreciate the many unique benefits of life here in Western North Carolina. In addition to an endless array of outdoor activities and unmatched mountain beauty, there is a lively culture, wonderful communities, and an amazing array of restaurants! My knowledge of this region runs deep, and I truly love sharing my local secrets and helping others discover what makes Asheville and the surrounding mountain communities so special.

Life as a teacher and selling real estate have a lot in common. The rewarding feeling of helping a student understand a new idea is a lot like helping a client take the next step in their homeownership journey. For me, real estate felt like the perfect industry to transition into so that I could continue to make a difference in people’s lives.

Since joining Mosaic Community Lifestyle Realty in 2020, I have had the opportunity to help buyers and sellers throughout Asheville and Western North Carolina. I was honored to be recognized as one of Asheville's Top 100 Realtors in both 2024 and 2025. Whether I am helping a first-time homebuyer, guiding someone through selling a longtime family home, or helping clients relocate to the mountains, I bring local knowledge, experience, patience, and a genuine commitment to the people I represent.

Giving back to my community is also incredibly important to me. I served on the Fund Development Board for the Buncombe Partnership for Children from 2021 to 2026 and currently serve as Vice President of the Board of Trustees for the Asheville Chamber Music Series. I love being involved in organizations that help make our community such a wonderful place to live.
