Let’s start with a few stats: I closed $5 million in real estate sales in 2015, ranking among the top 10% of Asheville's more than 1,800 realtors. Importantly, more than 75% of my business is sourced through referrals. Why? I’d like to think it’s due to my warm yet professional personality and commitment to the "little things” that keep my clients happy. I strive to make the buying or selling experience memorable for all parties – leading to word-of-mouth recommendations to friends, family and colleagues.
I love working with both buyers and sellers and specialize in residential and land sales in Western North Carolina. It brings me extra joy to help first-time home buyers and assist in equine properties. While my heart is in North Asheville, where I've lived with my family for the last 11 years. I have extensive experience in Weaverville, Mars Hill, Waynesville, Barnardsville, Hendersonville/Flat Rock, and other communities throughout the region.
A bit more about me and my background: I get my love of homes and spaces – and my creative vision – from my mom, who was an interior designer. I credit my dad, an engineer, with my hands-on mindset and attention to detail. I earned my real estate broker's license in 2006 and went to work for The Settings of Black Mountain, a high-end developer. I transitioned to residential sales and general brokerage and, over the last decade, have built a solid reputation based on my vast knowledge of the local market, creative marketing, responsiveness and clear, consistent communication – from the initial listing appointment or showing through closing. I’m a tireless worker who always puts my clients' interests above everything. In short, I love what I do and where I live... and it shows in my attitude, relationships and results.
When I'm not selling real estate, I'm covering it. An avid runner and triathlete, I spend most early mornings pounding the pavement in preparation for my next race. I have completed six marathons and a half-Ironman triathlon. I’ll tackle my second 70.3 triathlon (in Wilmington, NC) later this year, and third (in Costa Rica) next summer.
