I have lived in Asheville since 1984 and have watched it evolve into an amazing city. My extensive knowledge of the area and background in renovation and design give me the unique ability to help my real estate clients understand the potential that a home may offer. I stay on top of the market and am constantly searching for properties that display great possibilities, and I seek out homes for clients before they even hit the market.

I have consistently been in the Top 100 Agents in sales in Asheville, and my specialties are the historic neighborhoods of Asheville, including Kenilworth, Montford, and Grove Park. I know I have found my niche from the satisfaction I get helping sellers successfully market their homes and helping buyers find the perfect home - I love it all!

Shortly after graduating with an Interior Design degree from Appalachian State University, I bought my first fixer-upper, and that was it; I was hooked! Since that first experience, I have renovated dozens of historic homes in the Asheville area. Highlights, for me, were receiving the Griffin Award for Historic Preservation for my renovation of the Chiles house in Kenilworth, and that my Soco Street renovation was a featured home on the Historic Montford Tour. 

Currently,  I live in the Woodfin/ West Asheville area with my extended family and my sweet fur babies. We are very active in our neighborhood and in the Asheville school community. We enjoy spending time together as a family; we enjoy skiing, camping, and travelling. It is a busy and exciting life! 

Whether it is to help with packing to move, with staging for a sale, or with coordinating repairs or improvements, I don’t mind rolling up my sleeves. I am always willing to do what it takes for my clients to get the deal done as quickly and smoothly as possible.
