Over a period of 3 months (and during COVID-19), Alyssa skillfully helped us navigate the seller's hot market of real estate in the Asheville, NC area. We were out-of-state buyers and all of our "looking" was initiated online with Zillow searches. Because Alyssa took the time to really understand what we wanted and didn't want, she was able to accurately guide us as to what was and wasn't worth exploring in person (our on-location viewing times were limited). Also during this time frame, we had dozens of interactions with other realtors... one who represented us in the sale of our FL home, our buyer's realtor, and many more in NC who represented the many, many houses we had serious interest in. No one, and I seriously mean no one, came close to the level of experience, communication skills, and overall professionalism that Alyssa displayed through out our time with her. Alyssa has been an amazing agent for us! We embarked on an adventure to purchase a 2nd home in the Asheville area right before COVID hit. When we started our property search, Alyssa was extremely skilled at finding the best properties to fit our requirements, and she also helped us to fine tune our options for the best fit. We ended up going with a new build home that had enormous buyer interest, and Alyssa worked her magic to get us to the front of the line. Once we put this house build under contract, this is where Alyssa REALLY shined. COVID became a real problem for us to travel and do the things that you typically do when working with a builder to design your home. Alyssa knew exactly how to guide us through this process and she kept us updated on a regular basis with everything that was happening at our build site. In the end, Alyssa was our eyes, ears, and EXPERIENCED agent in this whole process. We were looking for a great experience, and Alyssa delivered!!! I would recommend Alyssa for anyone who is looking for an agent who truly prioritizes your needs, and especially if you are dealing with the extra challenges of going through the home buying process remotely. Alyssa Augustine is the best real estate agent in Asheville. She is incredibly knowledgeable with the market and community, and she was very driven to find a home perfect for us in our time frame. She was so easy to work with, took off all the stress with the buying and searching process as well she demonstrated an actively engaged communication style. If you’re looking for a down to earth and easy to talk to very professional agent go with her. I hired Alyssa to find me a one-in-a-million (ok maybe one-in-a-thousand or so) property that could be a second home, vacation home, and income property--and it had to be in a prime location with amazing outdoor space. Also, I live 400 miles from Asheville, so I was going to be asking her to do a lot of this without me, hoping that she understood my tastes well. We looked at a lot of options and she went out her way to figure out how each of them would or would not work out for me. She referred me to a great home inspector who saved me from buying a home with a questionable foundation. Ultimately we settled on new construction. She was able to use her network to get me one of the earliest looks at a new condo project. I closed recently and spent Thanksgiving enjoying a brand new condo, a huge terrace, and mountain views. I would definitely hire Alyssa the next time I need a realtor in Asheville.

Alyssa is the best realtor I have ever worked with - she takes time to understand your needs, will push back when needed, and suggest something you haven't thought of yourself when you're missing something. Our search is a hot market took over 6 months, and even though we were in multiple bid situations every time I know I would have ended up with a much worse property and much worse deal if I had worked with anyone else. Do yourself a favor and work with her.
