We moved from out of state and were nervous about finding a real estate agent long distance.  Elizabeth made everything so easy and really put us at ease with looking for the right house and purchasing our new home!  From the get go she was responsive and knowledgeable.  The first time I put in a  request for information and chose Elizabeth because of her great reviews, she did not disappoint!  When she called us back, long distance, within 10 minutes,  I was amazed!  When we arrived to look for a house, she was on time, had a sizable list of potential homes, and she quickly learned our preferences and what we were looking for.  We were able to find the right property in one day!

Elizabeth came recommended by our financial advisor. I was curious about the value of my current home, and beginning a search for an investment property. She provided comps based on both the current condition of my home and its potential value after renovations, and helped me clarify my  requirements for a second property based on its potential return as a rental.  When my husband and I found a property that interested us, Elizabeth made immediate arrangements for a viewing. From making our initial bid to the final meeting at closing, Elizabeth was patient and thorough (without being overwhelming) in procedures and explanations. My husband and I enjoy looking at Zillow listings. A few months ago, we were not seriously looking to buy a home. We used Zillow to check out properties we might like "some time in the future", and we would drive by various homes to see if we liked the neighborhood. We found a home we wanted to see  in person, but we did not have a realtor. We were leery about contacting a realtor due to a negative experience we had several months before when a relative tried to connected us to a realtor from her company in Atlanta.  The person she had contact us was not really interested in talking with us at all,  because we had not been prior approved for a loan. We tried to explain that we had not been looking for a home, but we wanted guidance in the process.  Long story short, this person was not for us.
On the Zillow listing, I saw Elizabeth's name under the home we were interested in seeing in person.  I was a bit anxious about contacting someone who was not recommended my a friend. I tried explaining in a few words on the Zillow contact email that we were "just looking" and had not started the loan approval process.  I did not know if she would contact me back. 
The Zillow representative responded to offer assistance with setting up an appointment with Elizabeth, but it was not needed as Elizabeth was so quick to respond to my email. I explained our situation. I was up front about where we were in the home search, and we had not been seriously looking. She was kind and understanding. She said she would be happy to show us the home we had seen on Zillow. We set up a time to meet her.
Elizabeth met us at the home, gave us a great tour and lots of information. She explained the home buying process. She guided us and answered all our questions. She made a list of all the things we were looking for in a home. She really listened and made notes regarding our work location, our desired neighborhoods, etc.  She told us that she would be happy to help us in any way.  This is how our  relationship with Elizabeth began.
Elizabeth suggested we continue to look at Zillow, and if we approved she would send us listings. We agreed. We continued to use Zillow and the listings Elizabeth sent to sort out what we were interested in seeing in person. 
Elizabeth made the entire process so easy. She was always quick to email, text or call us with answers to our questions. The more questions we ask her regarding properties, the more we trusted her opinion. She is very open and honest. She was NEVER pushy. She respected our opinions, and she answered all our concerns with thought and care.
We narrowed our search to two homes. We requested several visits to our favorite home. Elizabeth and the seller’s realtor worked together to arrange our visits and have our questions answered. My husband wanted his friends (an engineer and contractor) to look at the property. Elizabeth was happy to assist with them visiting the property and answering all their questions.  Between their expert opinions and Elizabeth's advice, we went into the process with our eyes open. When we decided to make an offer on the house, Elizabeth's assistance, advice and contacts were invaluable. Honestly, we would not have known what to do or the best way to do it without her help. She put in many hours with showing us properties, giving us every detail possible regarding each property, and setting up appointments as we progressed with house inspections. She made us feel like we were her only clients.
I have a lot of faith, and I believe with all my heart that God sent Elizabeth to us. We married in our late 40s, and this was our first home search together. We bought our dream home due to Elizabeth and her guidance.  She became a valuable advisor and friend during the time we spent with her.
We are so excited about moving into our new home later month. We appreciate Elizabeth so much, we plan to invite her and her family over to cook out.  We could not have filled out a "dream realtor" form and ended up with anyone more perfect than Elizabeth.  Whether you are like we were, novice buyers, or an inexperienced home buyer moving to Asheville from another area, you CAN NOT find a more helpful and kind person.
