It's the Asheville Color Ball, and it will be held October 31, 2015. The theme of one of Asheville's most extraordinary events put on by the Asheville Area Arts Council, "A Magical Masquerade : The 2015 Onyx Ball."
Full of great food, enchanting libations, cool costumes, amazing art, entertainment, music, and an abundance of creativity, the Onyx Color Ball will be saturated in the color. There will be live painting performances, acrobatics, face-painting, and onyx colored food and drinks. The AAAC is looking forward to the spectacular event in downtown Asheville.
