Hurricane Helene Relief: How to Help

Mosaic Realty strives to have a positive and sustainable impact on the community in which we live,

and we are fully committed to that.

Mosaic Realty is committed to supporting our local community as we navigate the impact to Asheville and the surrounding areas. The devastation to WNC from Hurricane Helene is unfathomable, and there is a great deal of work and rebuilding to be done. Though no one could have prepared for a disaster of these proportions, we are confident that our can-do mountain communities will come out of this stronger.

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the devastation. We are grateful that all our team members and their families are safe. As our local and regional community begins to rebuild, Mosaic Realty is committed to providing support.

Drop Supplies Off Locally:

Though the advice of local emergency officials is still to remain off of roads unless absolutely necessary, if you need to travel out and back to the area to source supplies and have the means to bring back more, these items are in high demand and can be dropped off during daylight hours at French Broad River School for girls at 1420 Riverside Drive weekdays between 9am and 5pm. Here is a list of most-needed supplies. Note that this is not a supply pick-up location but a place to drop off vital supplies that will be sent out to those in need.

Donated items by also be dropped off to be distributed by United Way volunteers at Harrah's Cherokee Center, at 87 Haywood Street at the front door. Needed Items: Food that is nonperishable or long shelf life, potable water for drinking, large refillable water jugs, paper plates and disposable utensils, flashlights with batteries, pet food, cat litter, can openers, hygiene items, first aid supplies, baby food, baby clothes, baby formula, hand sanitizer, wipes, toilet paper, bleach, shovels, work gloves, propane, cleaning supplies, trash bags, blankets, cleaning supplies, chains for chainsaws, solar lanterns, large refillable water jugs, 5 gallon buckets with lids
