My husband and I engaged Megan to help us find and purchase a home for our family in Asheville. We were very impressed with her responsiveness in the variety of different ways that worked best for us at different times (e.g., phone, text message, email). When we found a home that we were interested in, she helped us formulate a strategy and then an offer (and counter-offer) that enabled us to buy our home for a lower price than we thought possible, and on a timeframe that allowed us to move and close when we wanted. We were so happy with Megan as a buyer’s agent that we asked her to be the listing agent for our home. She made the strong case for listing at a higher price than we expected — convincing both of us that the house could sell for that price (and it did). She also had a system for how she thought we would be able to get that higher price—making the house as available as possible for showings for at least the first two weeks, coordinating online listings with notifying local brokers and listing in the local MLS, and hiring a great professional photographer to take excellent photos. Around ten interested buyers went through the house and we received two solid offers within 36 hours of the listing going live (and positive feedback from everyone who saw the house). When the first contract fell through (as a result of a change in circumstances for the potential buyers), Megan helped re-list the home and position it properly (including excellent coordination of listing, emailing brokers who had seen the house and/or expressed interested, and posting to online services), which resulted in an offer within a few hours of second listing that was better than the first offer with which we had originally gone under contract. We have been very happy with Megan as our realtor (both as a buyer’s agent and as a listing agent), and we would recommend her to anyone.
