Asheville is an outdoor sports enthusiats paradise. The mountains surrounding Asheville offer everything from fishing to hiking, and of course mountain biking. The Blue Ridge mountains offer some of the most pristine scenery and trails for those that love the outdoors. For those that enjoy mountain biking and all it has to offer, a special treat is in store with the announcement of Bailey Mountain Bike Park in Mars Hill.
This small mountain town is home to Mars Hill College, and now a 140 acre mountain bike park with five gravity trails and a jump line. The park is scheduled to be open to the public in August 2015, and this fall bike and helmet rentals will be available.
Homesites will be available for purchase in two areas surrounding the park, Knoll Area (homesites from $100,000) and High Ridge (homesites from $200,0000). Those interested in this unique mountain community dedicated to the lifestyle of a mountain biker should contact Justin Mitchell with Mosaic Realty.
Entrance into the park will be $35 per rider. There are plans for twilight riding passes and other discounts for entry into Bailey Mountain Bike Park.
This holiday weekend, there will be an invitation-only soft opening.
