Rounding Out 11th Year, Mosaic Continues to Give Back to Asheville Community

Mosaic Realty Gives Asheville Habitat BuildAs Mosaic Community Lifestyle Realty reflects on its 11th anniversary, it’s clear that a focus on people and community is at the heart of the agency’s success. Since its inception, Mosaic has given over $700,000 to hundreds of nonprofits and local organizations. In addition, Mosaic’s employees make it their mission to work with and support the outstanding area organizations that advocate for the vitality and health of the local and global community.

As a group, Mosaic gathers annually for volunteer efforts such as environmental clean-ups and Habitat for Humanity builds. Individually, Mosaic agents regularly volunteer their time, organizing and assisting community initiatives. From serving on nonprofit boards to assisting in schools and churches to aiding conservation causes, Mosaic’s agents have an important hand in the Asheville community.

When you work with Mosaic Realty, you contribute to giving back to the Asheville community. Whether it’s helping people buy or sell, Mosaic is honored to have your trust and business.

Following are a few ways Mosaic supports the Asheville community:

Youth and schools

Aiding organizations that educate and nurture Asheville youth is important to Mosaic. Among recipients of Mosaic support are Isaac Dickson Elementary School, Asheville City Schools Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC, Asheville High and Middle School Band Programs, and Buncombe Partnership for Children.

Mosaic Realty Gives Volunteer WorkHealth and wellness

A healthy population is a happy population: With a focus on helping to keep the community well, Mosaic supports Asheville on Bikes and the YMCA of Western N.C. And because mental and emotional health is just as important as physical well-being, Mosaic gives to All Souls Counseling Center.

Environment and green initiatives

Mosaic understands that as stewards of the Earth, it’s important to care for our environment through protective measures and green initiatives. Mosaic dollars go to support Western N.C. organizations like MountainTrue, Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy and Green Built Alliance.

Housing and food security

Ashevillians in need have a number of resources at their disposal, but these organizations rely on countless volunteer hours and dollars to dole out that assistance. Mosaic helps by donating to groups like Habitat for Humanity and Manna Food Bank.

Culture

Asheville is brimming with art and cultural events that enrich the community. By supporting such organizations as LEAF Community Arts, Blue Ridge Public Radio, and Blue Ridge Orchestra, Mosaic helps to make dance, music, art and other cultural experiences available to a wider population.

Social justice

Aiding organizations that advocate for social justice is extremely important to Mosaic. Support from the realty goes to such groups as Our Voice and Pisgah Legal.

These are just a few of the many Asheville area organizations and nonprofits that have received Mosaic’s backing. For a complete list of groups that benefited from Mosaic’s support in 2021, visit https://mymosaicrealty.com/donations-volunteer-program/.
