This May, Mosaic-Sponsored Events Elevate Asheville's Community Organizations

Mosaic Reality has long supported Asheville’s many community organizations, and now you can too! Join Mosaic in lifting up our area’s grassroots organizations by attending one of the many exciting Mosaic-sponsored events slated for the month of May.

Bloom With a View

The North Carolina Arboretum’s “Bloom With a View” – Mosaic is sponsoring this immersive floral installation on the grounds of the N.C. Arboretum. From May 1-14 throughout the gardens, thousands of blooms will be elevated to eye-level for a truly unique experience. https://www.ncarboretum.org/bloom-with-a-view/

Pisgah Legal’s “An Evening for Kids Deserve Justice” – Mosaic is proud to support this Pisgah Legal fundraiser May 31 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Salvage Station (466 Riverside Dr.). The all-ages event to benefit Pisgah Legal’s Children’s Law Program will feature local food, drinks, music and family fun. https://www.pisgahlegal.org/kids/

“Doing Good Through Business” Events – Through this community partnership, Mosaic is teaming with Devil’s Foot Beverage Company to host a series of gatherings to support various local nonprofit organizations. These Thursday events will be held from 5-8 p.m. at The Mule, Devil’s Foot’s South Asheville location (131 Sweeten Creek Rd.). Fifteen percent of all bar sales will be donated to a local nonprofit organization, with a Mosaic broker and partner of that organization matching the donation.

On May 4, come out to support broker Jackie Dirscherl’s fundraiser for Pisgah Legal. This event coincides with the ribbon cutting for Asheville Comicon, so come in costume if you'd like!

"As a native Ashevillian, I recognize how crucial it is to have an organization like Pisgah Legal Services available to provide free legal assistance to members of our mountain community. Countless people I know and love have benefited from their assistance - either in the past or are working with them now. We should all have equal access to work with someone who can help us navigate our basic rights, no matter how much money is in our bank account. I am proud to support Pisgah Legal as they continue to advocate for those who need it the most. All you need to do to show your support is to show up to Devil's Foot Brewery from 5-8 and purchase a drink." - Jackie

ABCLT DGTB

On May 11, join broker Trenton Thomas in supporting Asheville-Buncombe Community Land Trust.

"As someone who grew up in Asheville, I have witnessed the housing crisis firsthand. The rising cost of living, coupled with a lack of affordable housing, has had a significant impact on the local community, particularly on marginalized groups. Seeing this issue affect the people and places that I love has motivated me to take action and work with a non-profit that addresses the housing crisis. By doing so, I hope to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to creating a more equitable and just community"  - Trenton

OnTrack Financial Education & Counseling’s “Fab 50 Celebration” – Mosaic and broker Hart Dahlhauser are co-sponsors of this event celebrating the 50th anniversary of OnTrack, a nonprofit, community-supported United Way agency. The celebration will be held May 4 from 5-7 p.m. at Highland Brewing Event Center and Rooftop (12 Old Charlotte Hwy., Suite 200). OnTrack helps people achieve their money and housing goals through financial education, counseling and support. https://ontrackwnc.org/50th-anniversary/fab-50.html
