Looking to enjoy some summertime fun around Asheville while simultaneously supporting a worthy cause? Join Mosaic Realty this July in championing community nonprofits and organizations at these entertaining events.
“Doing Good Through Business” Events – Through its community partnership “Doing Good Through Business,” Mosaic is teaming with Devil’s Foot Beverage Company to host a series of gatherings aimed at supporting various local nonprofit organizations. These Thursday events will be held from 5-8 p.m. at The Mule, Devil’s Foot’s South Asheville location (131 Sweeten Creek Rd.). Fifteen percent of all drink sales will be donated to a local nonprofit organization, with a Mosaic broker and partner of that organization matching the donation. On July 13, come out to support broker Jackie Dirscherl’s fund-raiser for The N.C. Arboretum exhibit “Making Scents: The Art and Passion of Fragrance”.
“As a local Ashevillian & member of The N.C. Arboretum, I find it amazing that we have a place like this in our backyard. From visiting during the Winter Lights to strolling through the bonsai tree exhibit, there is something for everyone to learn & love. This special place gives us the opportunity to connect to nature by showcasing our diverse Southern Appalachian Mountain environment.” - Jackie Dirscherl
On July 20, you can attend broker Nancy Horowitz’s fund-raiser for United Way’s School Supply Drive.
“Years ago, prior to selling real estate I worked for a software company that connected volunteers with volunteer opportunities. Through that I was introduced to the United Way and specifically their school supply drive. Given this opportunity I was delighted to be able to help support United Way's School Supply Drive once again!” - Nancy Horowitz
On July 27, join Vanessa Byrd in supporting Children’s Well-Being League of Asheville.
" I really appreciate the mission of Children's Well-Being League: to promote the education and wellness of disadvantaged students of Buncombe County. When I was a child, I received help from various organizations to meet some of my basic needs, and now I feel fortunate and proud to be able to give back to an organization that provides this incredible assistance and improves the lives of children in our area. Children deserve a fighting chance in this world." - Vanessa Byrd
