We are thrilled to announce that Mosaic Realty broker Laura Moye has been chosen to host The American Dream, a nationally syndicated television program that airs on national networks. Laura will be hosting the commercial-free show featuring real estate, lifestyle and culture in various parts of the Asheville area on a bi-monthly basis over the next year, and potentially longer.
The American Dream TV and production team have been nominated for an EMMY, and have become nationally recognized as a show sharing the real stories of our neighborhoods and featuring the best real estate experts in the area. The show achieved incredible recognition at this year’s Telly Awards with 5 wins! Laura was chosen for her expertise in real estate, her reputation and recognition from her peers.

Behind the scenes: A Glimpse of the Filming of Episode 2: Downtown Asheville
In late August, Laura, some friends, clients and colleagues journeyed to film episode 2 on the streets and in businesses in Downtown Asheville. Laura started at one of her listings at 15 Rankin Avenue. This gorgeous modern industrial loft is not to me missed; check it out here!
Next, Asheville's Amazing Pub Cycle Tours transported the crew down to the South Slope of Asheville.
Laura and friends enjoyed delicious cheese, fruit, meats and wines at South Slope Cheese Company.
Finally, they finished the filming of this episode at one of Asheville's long-standing and beloved breweries, Green Man Brewery.

Behind the scenes: A Glimpse of the Filming of Episode 1: North Asheville
In early July, The American Dream TV production team joined Laura in her very own neighborhood of North Asheville. Laura started her segment at the iconic Grove Park Inn, a historic resort located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and just minutes from downtown Asheville.
From there, Laura and the production team moved over to the quaint ELDR restaurant, adjacent to the grounds of the Grove Park Inn at 111 Grovewood Road in North Asheville. Laura interviewed Eric Burleson, Co-Owner and Executive Chef. They celebrated their recent one year anniversary from opening and Laura got hands-on in the kitchen, learning how to make their popular Porcelet Pork Chop.
ELDR chef Eric Burleson prepared the delicious pork chop for Laura as she interviewed him about his craft and his love of seasonal, Appalachian, and heritage-raised ingredients.
Then, steps from the Grove Park Inn and Sports Complex, just a few blocks from ELDR, Laura and her video team stopped at a gorgeous contemporary custom build by K. A. Smith Company at 22 Innsbrook Road. Laura sold this property to clients in Sarasota, Florida in September of 2020.
Laura ended her segment traveling to the neighborhood of historic Montford before ending back at the terrace of the Grove Park Inn.
