Mosaic Realty takes pride in lending a hand to the many nonprofit groups and gatherings that make Asheville and Western N.C. such an amazing place to live. This August, round out your summer by joining Mosaic in supporting these exciting community events and organizations.
“Doing Good Through Business” Events – Through its community partnership “Doing Good Through Business,” Mosaic is teaming with Devil’s Foot Beverage Company to host a series of gatherings aimed at supporting various local nonprofit organizations. These Thursday events will be held from 5-8 p.m. at The Mule, Devil’s Foot’s South Asheville location (131 Sweeten Creek Rd.). Fifteen percent of all bar sales will be donated to a local nonprofit organization, with a Mosaic broker and partner of that organization matching the donation. On Aug. 24, come out to support broker Alyssa Augustine’s fund-raiser for Beloved Asheville, helping marginalized members of our community with things like food, housing and other necessities.
Asheville on Bikes’ Summer Cycle – This iconic summer AoB event, scheduled for Aug. 19, is a community ride aimed at promoting the sport of cycling, no matter your age or ability. Starting from New Belgium Brewing, the ride features several route options, and ends with a festive celebration. Stay tuned to https://ashevilleonbikes.com/ for more information.
YMCA of WNC – Mosaic is a longtime supporter of the YMCA of Western N.C., helping to underwrite unique and enriching programs for both youth and adults. The YMCA’s programs cover a wide range of interests and activities: everything from the Y Teen Career Club – an afterschool twice-weekly gathering where teens 14-18 hone their leadership skills and learn about potential careers – to Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance, part of the Y’s Healthy Aging program aimed at enhancing quality of life by increasing strength, balance and flexibility.
Pisgah Area SORBA – Mosaic is a proud supporter of Pisgah Area Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association, dedicated to creating, maintaining and improving trail systems in the Pisgah Ranger District and surrounding region in order to preserve mountain biking opportunities for the community. The largest nonprofit mountain biking organization in the Southeast, SORBA hosts events throughout the year, including Women’s Mountain Bike Day in May and Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day in October. Additionally, the association hosts cookouts as well as tent and table events at Western N.C. festivals, breweries and other gatherings to promote SORBA’s mission.
