This September, Mosaic Brings Entertaining Community Events to Asheville

September is brimming with exciting community happenings around Asheville, and everyone’s invited! Join Mosaic Realty in supporting our region’s nonprofits at these entertaining events.

Doing-Good Through Business LeAnn

“Doing Good Through Business” Events – Through its community partnership “Doing Good Through Business,” Mosaic is teaming with Devil’s Foot Beverage Company to host a series of gatherings aimed at supporting various local nonprofit organizations. These Thursday events will be held from 5-8 p.m. at The Mule, Devil’s Foot’s South Asheville location (131 Sweeten Creek Rd.). Fifteen percent of all bar sales will be donated to a local nonprofit organization, with a Mosaic broker and partner of that organization matching the donation. On Sept. 14, join broker LeAnn Bound in supporting Blue Ridge Dirt Skrrts, an organization aimed at getting more women out on mountain bikes, regardless of background or skill level and in a welcoming and non-intimidating environment.

14th West Asheville Garden Stroll – This free, Mosaic-sponsored event opens selected neighborhood gardens to the public Sept. 9. With the theme of “Every Garden Is a Universe,” this year’s stroll features 15 diverse, creative and whimsical gardens in the neighborhood between Hall Fletcher Elementary School and Hanover Street (complete with maps and garden descriptions).

Conserving Carolina Fundraiser – This event, hosted by Mosaic broker Brittany Roszko, takes place Sept. 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Mills River Brewing Co. (336 Banner Farm Road, Mills River). There will be raffle prizes, as well as Conserving Carolina reps on hand to discuss their mission to protect, restore and inspire appreciation of the natural world. Says Roszko: “Most of us who live in this area do so because we love the land. Conserving Carolina has a hand in protecting over 48,000 acres of the land including Chimney Rock State Park and DuPont State Recreational Forest. I'm beyond proud to support this awesome crew and their mission!”

Bounty and Soul Farm to Fork Fundraiser – The second annual Farm to Fork fundraiser, to be held Sept. 21 from 6-9 p.m., is an interactive experience where area chefs create a feast from seasonal, locally sourced harvests. Mosaic is a proud sponsor of the event, which will be set on a 10-acre property in the foothills of Black Mountain and feature tapas, live music, craft cocktails and storytelling around Bounty and Soul’s celebration of nutritious food, education and community.
