It's Time for the 2026 Mosaic Art Walk & Benefit! Everything You Need to Know

Ready for one of Asheville’s most anticipated spring evenings of art, community and connection? The Mosaic Realty Art Walk & Benefit returns on Thursday, May 7, bringing together downtown Asheville’s vibrant creative scene in support of local nonprofits.

Participating galleries and creative spaces will be paired with a different nonprofit partner and hosted by Mosaic brokers, with attendees invited to stroll from stop to stop to experience inspiring artwork and connect with organizations doing important work in Western North Carolina. Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a returning fan, here’s everything you need to know for a memorable night.

When is the Mosaic Art Walk & Benefit?

The 2026 Mosaic Art Walk & Benefit will take place on Thursday, May 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. It’s the perfect early-evening event, offering plenty of time to explore galleries, connect with nonprofits and enjoy downtown Asheville.

Where is it happening?

The event unfolds across 11 downtown Asheville galleries and creative spaces, all within easy walking distance of one another. Participating locations include a mix of well-known galleries and community spaces throughout downtown.

Is there admission?

No, the event is completely free and open to the public. But there are plenty of ways to give back while you’re enjoying the evening! We encourage attendees to purchase raffle tickets, support participating galleries by purchasing artwork, and make direct donations to participating nonprofits.

Which nonprofits does it support this year?

The 2026 Art Walk will benefit 11 local nonprofit organizations doing meaningful work across Western North Carolina. Each gallery is paired with a nonprofit and Mosaic brokers/hosts, giving you the chance to learn about and support the nonprofit’s mission while you explore the art.

How does the raffle work?

One of the highlights of the evening is the themed raffle packages, featuring curated prizes from local businesses and partners. Raffle tickets will be available in advance (https://givebutter.com/artwalk26) and on-site, with proceeds going to help support all participating nonprofits. Simply choose the nonprofit or nonprofits you would like to directly support, and enter to win at the corresponding galleries.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes! Mosaic Realty has hired local eatery 67 Biltmore to cater light fare for the event. In addition, complimentary wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages will be on tap.

Where do I park?

Downtown Asheville offers several convenient parking options, including public parking garages throughout the downtown area, as well as street parking (where available). We recommend using the Asheville Parking app!

What’s the best way to plan my route?

Peruse the map of participating galleries ahead of time at MosaicArtWalk.com (where you can download a pdf of the map - coming soon!). With all locations within a walkable downtown radius, it’s easy to explore multiple stops throughout the evening.

Unsure of where to start? We recommend beginning with a visit to the gallery where your Mosaic broker is hosting, then check out galleries where the art and featured nonprofits pique your interest. 

How else can I support the nonprofits?

In addition to the raffle, you can:

  • Purchase artwork, with many galleries donating a portion of proceeds
  • Meet nonprofit representatives at each location
  • Make direct donations to the nonprofits during the event
