Dana is a great realtor. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and honest, and the first real estate agent that explained to me what a short sale was in a way I understood it. He helped us sell our apartment, which was a TIC. The Tenancy in Common set up isn't that common and Dana did a lot of extra research to make sure our T.I.C. sale was marketed as best as possible. Not only that, but he helped us organize all the other vendors needed for the sale.

Update: When it was time to sell our home, we asked Dana to help us sell it. He did a great job selling our apartment 7 years ago, so it made sense to bring him back. He worked hard coming by on nights and weekends to make sure every detail was taken care of.
Years ago, when we were first shopping for a house, we would look at real estate listings and go to multiple listings on the weekend. Every once in a while, we would come to an open house that was in our budget but way too nice. "How is this house so cheap?" We'd say to ourselves. What we eventually realized is that there was one realtor who would consistently list their houses for sale 20% lower than every other realtor in the area. Later, when we got mailers from that realtor, championing how much over asking price they were able to sell houses for, we understood why they engaged in that practice. Now I am not taking up space in my review for Dana Brook just to slander [Realtor name redacted]. I just want you to know that when we posted our house, we did not artificially create a scenario where it would sell way higher than the asking price. But that is what happened. Our house sold for over 50% over our asking price. Sure, Dana can't take all the credit. It's a very tightly constricted housing supply; our house was actually a very nice house (I am very unbiased!), and we had a huge yard, but Dana did everything necessary to make that sale come through. Not only did he help us sell the house for a great price, but he also helped us to do it within very tight time constraints. We were going to leave the area because of work opportunities, on short notice, but if we waited too long to sell, we would be severely limited in what we could do. Dana was organized and efficient. Everything was prepared and executed on schedule. It's clear that his experience with the process let him quickly make and execute our sales plan.
 

Dana's vision for what our home needed to make it market-ready was right on. Dana's knowledge of the neighborhood and his understanding of the market were a true asset in this process. Once Dana helped orchestrate the needed updates to our home, his marketing of the property exceeded expectations. Dana felt like a true partner in this intimidating process- he supported us every step of the way and helped us surpass our selling goals.

Buying a house is stressful. Selling a house is stressful. Doing both at the same time...temporary insanity! With Dana's help and guidance, we pulled off what felt like a magic trick but was actually the work of the talented Dana Brook! Dana is personable, confident, and knowledgeable. Through all that uncertainty, Dana was our rock. I can't stress his talents enough. I feel like I'm writing a wedding toast! Haha! But seriously... Laura is truly amazing. This was my first time buying a home, so I was overwhelmed and nervous going in.
