Last summer, I had the pleasure of working with Mike Figura regarding the sale of our vacation home in Asheville. Mike came to our house so we could get to know each other and he was happy to answer our questions. There was no pressure whatsoever. The following week, Mike gave us a presentation regarding property values and some ideas of optional improvements we could make. We also discussed staging, if we were interested. At all times, Mike was very professional, but he also has a very warm and gentle personality that made us feel very comfortable in hiring him to list our house. We were thrilled when we saw the listing, which included an inviting description, amazing professional photographs and a video walk through that truly gave prospective buyers the feel of the house. We had over 20 showings and received multiple offers (over listing price) and were under contract in a matter of days. Mike’s dedication and hard work did not stop there. As we were out of state, Mike stepped in and offered his assistance whenever needed. The closing was a breeze. Throughout the process, Mike was in frequent contact and always reachable. My husband and I recently worked with Bill Anderson at Mosaic to find our dream home. As first time home buyers we were pretty clueless about the process and having just moved to Asheville from Chicago, we didn't know the area well either. Bill took us all over Asheville, showing us the pros and cons of different neighborhoods and we looked at tons of houses so we could get a feel for what we wanted. He'd explain what was good or bad about one and why, and graciously answered every single one of our thousand questions with a high degree of industry knowledge. He's a great communicator - throughout the whole process from our first call to closing, we never had to guess at what was happening or where we were. I'm picky and have pretty specific taste, but we eventually found a house that we absolutely LOVE, within our budget and in a great neighborhood. Bill also hooked us up with a lender and an attorney and they all worked together seamlessly - seriously, buying a house with Bill was unbelievably easy and dare I say, fun? Without question Alyssa went above and beyond in helping to get our home sold. This is an older house and in the sale process we needed to deal with a few maintenance/repair issues and given that we are not in Asheville this could have been very problematic... but each and every time Alyssa was quick to find us options and get things fixed. In addition, her experience and honesty in how to deal with negotiations was great. We would not hesitate for a second to work the Alyssa again.

Over a period of 3 months (and during COVID-19), Alyssa skillfully helped us navigate the seller's hot market of real estate in the Asheville, NC area. We were out-of-state buyers and all of our "looking" was initiated online with Zillow searches. Because Alyssa took the time to really understand what we wanted and didn't want, she was able to accurately guide us as to what was and wasn't worth exploring in person (our on-location viewing times were limited).
