Wow. Just wow! When I began the search for property in the Asheville area, Nancy (along with other realtors) contacted me in reply to my general inquiry to a real estate ad. From my first interaction with her, I knew she was the ‘go to’ person. She immediately exhibited professionalism, eagerness to ask questions, listen to my responses, and to genuinely get to know my thoughts. She was interested in what I was looking for and wanted to offer sound advise. She possesses the relentless energy to answer questions before they were asked and the thoughtfulness to chase solutions. Having moved from Australia to Asheville NC we are so happy we chose Nancy Horowitz as our agent. My husband and I decided we wanted to purchase our first home at the end of June 2019. Once we decided we were ready to buy, we reached out to Nancy, and she immediately started working to help us find the perfect home. I hired Alyssa to find me a one-in-a-million (ok maybe one-in-a-thousand or so) property that could be a second home, vacation home, and income property--and it had to be in a prime location with amazing outdoor space. Also, I live 400 miles from Asheville, so I was going to be asking her to do a lot of this without me, hoping that she understood my tastes well. We looked at a lot of options and she went out her way to figure out how each of them would or would not work out for me. She referred me to a great home inspector who saved me from buying a home with a questionable foundation. Ultimately we settled on new construction. She was able to use her network to get me one of the earliest looks at a new condo project. I closed recently and spent Thanksgiving enjoying a brand new condo, a huge terrace, and mountain views. I would definitely hire Alyssa the next time I need a realtor in Asheville.

Alyssa is the best realtor I have ever worked with - she takes time to understand your needs, will push back when needed, and suggest something you haven't thought of yourself when you're missing something. Our search is a hot market took over 6 months, and even though we were in multiple bid situations every time I know I would have ended up with a much worse property and much worse deal if I had worked with anyone else. Do yourself a favor and work with her.

Bill was professional, clear, and effective in working my family through the home buying process from across the country. His knowledge of the Asheville market, along with his rapid communication really worked for me. Some of his advice and nudges were what enabled us to secure the winning bid on the home in a hot market, and in a competitive location. We ended up with a great home for a very good price. Bill always was willing to express his authentic perspective on a home and never wasted our time. However, he was willing to spend as long as it took to make sure that my wife and I got the information we needed to make decisions.
