I decided last summer that Asheville would be my next retirement landing spot, and I confess that a big part of the reason I selected Sandra as my agent was the fact that she included her dog in her profile photo. The comfort and safety of my dogs is as important to me as my own, and I thought she might feel the same way. I was right! Sandra worked diligently to locate homes that would suit me and my pups, and shepherded me through three intensive house-hunting trips to Asheville last autumn. At the last house on the last day of the third trip, we walked in, stopped to greet the elderly dog that was on the premises, and both knew almost immediately that it was THE place. She continued working hard through the negotiations and closing, and many weeks later still checks in to make sure that all is going well. I recommend her highly. 

Kathleen Cook is a wonderful  person and realtor.   She made the process manageable and took each step in this process along with me as a realtor and friend.  Through the process I never doubted that she had my best interest at heart.  She is very knowledgeable and able to assist in the fine details. I give Gus the highest marks for his work selling my home in Asheville. This was a home I had purchased in 2012 using Gus as a Buyers Agent. In 2018, I had to sell the house because I had to.move to FL for personal reasons. The house had sat vacant for well over a year. Selling a house that has sat vacant for a long period of time required a realtor who is willing to go well above and beyond the "normal" work of a realtor. The time Gus expended in taking care of deferred maintenance was substantial, making certain contractors had access to the home, checking out the work, etc etc.. Gus's work in preparing the house for listing, listing the house and guiding me through the sales process was thorough, thoughtful and competent. We had a contract for sale at 98% of my asking price within a week. Gus even coordinated the packing and moving of my furniture and personal items. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Gus for going above and beyond the typical service you receive from a,realtor in selling a home.
