Eager to experience some exciting events and community opportunities in Asheville and Western North Carolina this May? Following are just a few of the many happenings about town, suited to a range of interests and lifestyles, and supported and curated by Mosaic Realty brokers!

Mosaic Art Walk & Benefit (May 2) – For a second consecutive year, Mosaic Realty is proud to come together with 14 downtown Asheville galleries to present the Mosaic Art Walk & Benefit. This free community fundraiser, to be held from 5-9 p.m., will be open to the public, with each of the participating galleries highlighting a different local nonprofit. And new to the Art Walk this year is a car raffle, with a chance to win a brand-new, all-electric 2024 Volkswagen ID.4! Mosaic and United Way are teaming up to present the car raffle, proceeds from which will also benefit the 15 nonprofits featured in this year’s Art Walk. You can RSVP to the Art Walk & Benefit here. Local environmental advocates, artists and poets will review entries and select three winners from each category and age group, with winners receiving prizes from local businesses. The contest will culminate in a special gallery event on May 11 from 10 a.m.– 1 p.m. at Black Wall Street AVL, where all submissions will be on display. https://riverlink.org/work/voices-of-the-river/
