RAD Half Marathon and 10K (June 9) – This picturesque race – one of the fastest in the area – takes participants through Asheville’s River Arts District on a meandering course along the French Broad River. 15th Annual Authors for Literacy (June 13) – This popular Literacy Together event, sponsored by Mosaic, is the largest annual fundraiser for Literacy Together and will feature guest speaker and New York Times bestselling author Lisa See. There will also be presentations by Literacy Together staff, board and students, a fun-filled live auction, book signing, and buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres. 18th Annual Art in Bloom (June 14 and 15) – This fundraiser for the Black Mountain Center for the Arts is cosponsored by Mosaic Realty and Mosaic broker Shane Peters. The multifaceted experience, celebrating nature and art, includes two gallery exhibits, live floral arrangements, and a local garden tour featuring working artists. Music on Main (June 15) – This annual, family-friendly community festival in downtown Weaverville features everything from live music (three bands will headline) to kid activities to beverage and food vendors.
