Asheville Maker Faire (April 5) – Mosaic Realty is a proud sponsor of the 2025 Asheville Maker Faire, a free, family-friendly event celebrating creativity, technology and innovation. Makers from all backgrounds – tech enthusiasts, crafters, engineers and artists – will gather at Mission Health/A-B Tech Conference Center to showcase their work and share their knowledge.  

Asheville on Bikes’ Spring Out (April 5) – Join Asheville on Bikes for a fun-filled community ride, sponsored by Mosaic! Choose from three routes – Cruiser (1.5 miles), Main Ride (11 miles) or Ride More (20 miles) – and experience Asheville’s streets and trails alongside other cyclists. Riders end at Wedge at Wedge Studios in the River Arts District.

Dog Eggstravaganza (April 12) – Bring your pup for a fun Easter egg hunt at Buncombe County Sports Park. Dogs will compete in small and large dog divisions, searching for hidden treat-filled eggs. Prizes will be awarded to the best egg hunters.

Asheville Sports + Fitness Fair (April 15) – Discover local sports leagues, fitness opportunities, and wellness resources at the Asheville Sports + Fitness Fair, presented by Asheville Parks & Recreation. The event includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the renovation of Memorial Stadium and revitalization of Mountainside Park.

Earth Day Clean-Up at Lake Julian (April 22) – Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at this clean-up of Lake Julian Park. Participants will help with landscaping, litter removal, and other improvement projects. Tools and materials will be provided.

Dining Out for Life (April 24) – This annual event, sponsored by Mosaic and broker Anthony Guthmiller, encourages residents of the Asheville area to dine at participating restaurants to raise money for Western North Carolina AIDS Project’s life-saving mission of HIV prevention and care.

Pisgah Project Day (April 26) – Join the Pisgah Conservancy and the U.S. Forest Service for the largest annual volunteer event in Pisgah National Forest, where you’ll be able to help complete over 20 improvement projects in a single day.

From the Earth Festival (April 26) – Held at Trailside Brewing Co. in Hendersonville, this fest from Blue Ridge Artisan Market celebrates sustainability and Earth-friendly living with 40+ eco-conscious vendors, live music, workshops and environmental talks.

May Events in Asheville and Western North Carolina

Spring Splash Derby Bash (May 3) – Mosaic and broker Travis Price are co-sponsors of this event to benefit French Broad River Academy. Enjoy a Derby-themed evening featuring dinner, drinks, music and auctions to raise funds for FBRA’s Helene recovery efforts.

Bach: Tales in Music and Words (May 7) – Experience a musical journey through the works of Bach with performances by acclaimed musicians, part of the Parker Concert Hall 2024-25 Series at Brevard Music Center.

LEAF Retreat (May 8-11) – Enjoy this beloved three-day festival celebrating music, art and culture at the historic Lake Eden in Black Mountain.

Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 12-14) – The Big South Conference hosts its outdoor track & field championships at UNC Asheville’s newly renovated Olympic-level Karl Straus track.

Saluda Arts Festival (May 17) – Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Saluda Arts Festival! Enjoy an outdoor art gallery featuring regional artists, live music and more along Main Street in downtown Saluda.

Spring in the Oaks (May 31) – Step back in time at this Prohibition-era themed gala to benefit the Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County. The festive event, sponsored by Mosaic, features gourmet food, signature cocktails and live music at a historic Black Mountain estate.  

Just Brew It Benefit (May 31) – This homebrew festival at Pisgah Brewing will feature a range of unique beers from regional homebrewers, with attendees voting for their favorites. The event benefits Just Economics of Western N.C., whose mission is to educate, advocate and organize for a just and sustainable economy. Find information at Just Economics' website
