WNC Big Sweep Cleanup (Sept. 6) – Join Asheville GreenWorks and the Asheville-area community for an end-of-summer river cleanup. Volunteers will paddle a section of the French Broad River in Woodfin starting at Pearson Bridge. Canoes and kayaks will be provided, as will expert supervision, proper gear and light refreshments.
103.3 Asheville FM Record Fair (Sept. 7) – Vinyl lovers won’t want to miss this annual record fair, hosted by Asheville FM and held at Harrah’s Cherokee Center in downtown Asheville. Featuring dozens of vendors from across the Southeast, the fair offers thousands of new and vintage LPs, rare finds, and music-related memorabilia.
BANFF Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour (Sept. 12 & 13) – Two unforgettable nights of high-altitude excitement return to Asheville as the BANFF Film Festival screens at the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts. Proceeds support MountainTrue’s work preserving the Southern Blue Ridge, and guests can also enter a raffle for a chance to win one of three adventure prize packages. West Asheville Garden Stroll (Sept. 13) – Stroll through unique gardens in the Falconhurst neighborhood and discover the creative landscaping and sustainable gardening ideas that West Asheville is known for. This annual event, co-sponsored by Erin Walton, Anthony Guthmiller and Mosaic, brings neighbors and visitors together in true Asheville community spirit.
RAD Resilience (Sept. 13) – Marking one year since Hurricane Helene, RAD Resilience is a free, community-wide art event centered on healing, creativity and collective strength. Visitors can explore and purchase new works from over 350 artists throughout the River Arts District, as well as 100 displaced artists exhibiting at the RAD Art Market. There will be live music, food trucks, artist talks, and a large-scale interactive art project that spans the district.

Buncombe Partnership for Children’s 30th Anniversary Blockbuster Bash (Sept. 18) – Mark three decades of supporting children and families in the region at this ’90s dance party at The Venue in downtown Asheville. This special evening, co-sponsored by Jackie Dirscherl and Mosaic, features live entertainment and opportunities to invest in early childhood education initiatives.
15th Mercy Golf Classic (Sept. 25) – Golf lovers are invited to hit the links at the Reems Creek Golf Club in Weaverville in support of Mercy Urgent Care. Proceeds from the event, co-sponsored by Trip Howell and Mosaic, will benefit the Catherine McAuley MERCY Foundation, which provides important humanitarian work in Western N.C. through Mercy Urgent Care’s Compassionate Care program.
Blue Ridge Pride Festival (Sept. 27) – Celebrate love, inclusion and Asheville’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community at downtown Asheville’s Pack Square Park during the Blue Ridge Pride Festival. Enjoy live performances, family activities, food vendors and more. Co-sponsored by Anthony Guthmiller, Jackie Dirscherl, Ward Caldwell and Mosaic.
