To that end, Mosaic Community Lifestyle Realty is proud to announce its new environmental initiative: a partnership with Asheville GreenWorks for its native tree giveaway event. The event aims to deepen the Asheville community’s commitment to a greener, more sustainable future.
Tree giveaway details
- What: A free native tree distribution event, hosted by Asheville GreenWorks and sponsored by Mosaic, with Mosaic brokers volunteering at the event. Note! You must reserve a tree first to pick one up.
- Reserve your native tree here! (Trees will be available for reservation about one week before the event. Stay tuned to Mosaic Realty and Asheville Greenworks social media for details).
- When: Sunday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Why: This is a Mosaic-funded initiative to help community members reforest private property in the wake of Hurricane Helene, strengthening our local tree canopy and protecting the region from erosion, flooding and the effects of climate change.
How can you make an impact in Western N.C.?
Homeowners in Buncombe County can make a lasting environmental impact by registering for a free native tree to plant on their property. Pre-registration is required to reserve a tree at ashevillegreenworks.org/shop#faqs, (tree reservations will be available around one week before the event). Stay tuned to Asheville Greenworks' Instagram and Facebook account for live reservation details. During pickup, Asheville GreenWorks staff will provide guidance on proper planting and care to help ensure each tree’s success.
