  • Asheville Symphony Masterworks 4: Scottish (Feb. 14) – Experience world-class orchestral music at this Valentine’s Day concert featuring works from three composers, including Mendelssohn’s “Scottish” Symphony. The performance, to be held at the First Baptist Church of Asheville, promises a rich musical journey inspired by Scotland’s dramatic shorelines, ruined castles and vibrant culture.

  • Ailey II: The Next Generation of Dance (Feb. 17-18) – Artistic energy takes center stage as Ailey II brings dynamic contemporary dance to Asheville’s Wortham Center.   • Sal Vulcano: Everything’s Fine Tour (Feb. 19) – Comedian Sal Vulcano brings his hilarious storytelling and quick wit to the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium for a fun night of standup in downtown Asheville.

 

  • Arts & Crafts Conference and Show at Grove Park Inn (Feb. 20-22) – This long-running conference, one of Asheville’s most important design traditions, features lectures, exhibitions and fine craft vendors, highlighting both historic and contemporary craftsmanship against the luxurious backdrop of the Grove Park Inn.  

 

  • Lotus – Rise of the Anglerfish Tour (Feb. 26) – Cap off February with an upbeat night of music from electronic jam-fusion band Lotus at The Orange Peel.
